The Marianist Educational Associates (MEA) initiative has provided me the understanding, the words and the courage to keep alive the traditions and beliefs of the University of Dayton as a Catholic, Marianist institution that seeks to welcome all into a true community. The Marianist example of staying at the table in respectful, sometimes uncomfortable, discussion and reflection to work toward the common good influences my current work as an administrator at the University of Dayton.
