A new student leadership development program was initiated this fall and made possible by an endowment from the Marianist Province of the United States. This will be a four year program to incorporate Marianist, Catholic and Hawaiian values and the principles of ethical leadership. It is open to any student, regardless of major. The Marianist education values, which lie at the core of the university’s heritage, will be central to the leadership program in all aspects of student life, from academic to athletic and from the local community to the world.
