- Another example of the fruitfulness of “affinity group” collaboration is found in the paper: Community and Civic Engagement in Catholic and Marianist Universities. Clare Acosta Matos, St. Mary’s; Kelly Boher, UD and Candice Sakuda, Chaminade wrote, “Our shared passion for the Marianist principles of community and civic engagement led us to co-author an updated white paper for the AMU, which has also led to presentation opportunities and curricular consulting work to advance ‘educating in the family spirit and educating for peace and justice.'”
- The AMU Board decided on a common initial formation process for the next Marianist Educational Associate (MEA) cohort. Local MEA directors/coordinators will be making information available. The dates are 16–20 May 2020 [excluding travel dates] and the venue will be the University of Dayton.
