Winston Erevelles Selected as St. Mary’s University President

Dr. Winston Erevelles

On June 1, 2024, Winston Erevelles, Ph.D., will become the 14th president of St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. Erevelles joined the University in 2009 as Dean of the School of Science, Engineering and Technology. His dedicated service continued in this role for the next 12 years while also serving as a Professor of Industrial Engineering. Along with his duties as an influential professor, in 2021 Erevelles began leading the effort for two critical initiatives - accreditation of the St. Mary's University Nursing Program and creation of the Blank Sheppard Innovation Center.
