• The AMU affinity group involved with Civic and Community engagement recently received a Lilly Fellows Program Regional Collaboration Grant of $16,000. The project, “Catholic Marianist Social Teaching across the Curriculum through Civic and Community Engagement” will examine this area in all three universities, develop a common understanding of community and civic engagement and then develop a common program including faculty courses and networks to support the integration of community engagement throughout the curriculum.

• A new AMU affinity group is forming with the chairs or heads of the departments and programs of Religious Studies at all three Marianist universities. They will be meeting this month to introduce themselves, acquaint each other with their respective programs and explore future collaboration.
