New bachelor’s creates pathway to solving biomedical challenges
Starting in Fall 2026, St. Mary’s will be the only private, Catholic university in Texas to offer a bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering, preparing students for careers in medical devices, biotechnology and health care, grounded in Marianist values and ethics.

Chaminade University forensic sciences lab secures last remains of Saint Marianne of Moloka‘i
At the request of the Diocese of Honolulu, Chaminade’s Forensic Sciences Unit is recovering the last bone fragments of Saint Marianne Cope from her original grave on Moloka‘i, so that relics can be shared with each of the main Hawaiian Islands.
